Tendril Powers Efficient Software Delivery

Tendril provides cloud software that helps utilities acquire customers, engage users and optimize home energy through its Orchestrated Energy CDM platform. Facing a sprawling, heterogeneous development environment—five Jenkins instances on different versions plus Mesos, Docker, Spark, Hadoop and AWS—Tendril needed to simplify operations, accelerate delivery, and secure reliable expert support while advancing toward DevOps and continuous delivery.

Tendril implemented the CloudBees Jenkins Platform integrated with Mesos, Docker and AWS, adopting Pipeline, RBAC, Folders, Credentials and Promoted Builds to standardize and automate workflows. The move consolidated five Jenkins instances into one, enabled Dockerized pipelines from GitHub to AWS, delivered responsive same-day support, and created a scalable foundation for CI/CD and global growth.
