Pegasystems, a leader in software for customer engagement and digital transformation, needed to shorten lengthy, manual release cycles and reduce maintenance overhead that was diverting developers from high-value work. Prior to the project, getting code into development systems could take up to three days, and scaling and cleanup were costly and time-consuming.

Pega adopted CloudBees Core to run Jenkins at scale on AWS, using Jenkins Pipeline, RBAC and Jenkins Operations Center to automate builds, tests and deployments. The result: deployment times dropped 92% (from three days to about two hours), testing times fell by roughly 50%, infrastructure and resource needs were simplified, and developers gained visibility, support and more time for feature work.
