Healthesystems Adopts Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to Accelerate Development Practices

Healthesystems, a provider of medical cost‑management solutions for the workers’ compensation industry, needed to accelerate software delivery and free staff to focus on innovation. Legacy reporting systems and inconsistent, manual build and deployment processes slowed development, forced three‑week sprints, and made a transition to agile and CI difficult.

Partnering with Open Source Architect, Healthesystems adopted the CloudBees Jenkins Platform (with Subversion, Nexus, Folders, Templates and Jenkins Operations Center) to automate CI/CD, standardize jobs, and onboard teams. The overhaul cut deployments from hours to minutes, reduced sprint duration by 33% (enabling two‑week sprints), halved the deployment workload, and brought all eight teams onto CI as they move toward continuous delivery.
