Bosch’s Diesel Gasoline Systems – Electronic Controls division (DGS‑EC) confronted growing software complexity as vehicle features shifted from hardware to software. About 4,000 engineers working on roughly 400 projects relied on manual, siloed build and test processes that reduced transparency, caused instability and lengthened time‑to‑market.

Working with CloudBees, Bosch rolled out CloudBees Core (Jenkins) with RBAC, High Availability and Pipeline plugins and Jenkins Operations Center to centralize and automate CI/CD. The change cut a three‑day build down to 2 hours 20 minutes (<3 hours), achieved about 95% build pipeline automation, improved stability and visibility, and kept large‑scale deployment on track with expert CloudBees support.
