Allianz Insurance, one of the UK’s largest general insurers and part of Allianz SE, needed to speed up delivery of digital insurance products as part of its "digital by default" agenda. With hundreds of onshore and offshore developers and inconsistent team practices, slow project start‑ups and limited developer mobility were delaying releases and raising costs.

Allianz standardized on CloudBees CI (Jenkins), rolling the platform out incrementally from a cloud pilot to a centre of excellence and an on‑prem deployment managed by CloudBees Jenkins Operations Center, with pipeline-driven automation and expanded testing. As a result, project startup times fell from days to minutes, the development environment became consistently reliable, high‑priority incidents decreased, and staffing flexibility and scalability improved.
