Clarion, a global events organiser headquartered in the UK, engaged Cloudapps to tackle poor Salesforce ROI, low user adoption and an inability to link CRM activity to revenue during a rapid growth phase. Clarion needed visibility into the behaviours driving top performance so they could identify skill gaps, prove the value of Salesforce, and improve sales effectiveness across 200 reps in four territories.

Cloudapps deployed SuMo (SuMo Insight in Stealth Mode and SuMo Motivate) to silently track behaviours, deliver personalised coaching recommendations and run a gamified “Chilli Hot” competition to drive adoption. Within nine weeks Clarion achieved a 20% uplift in closed opportunities, a 75.6% increase in average conversion rate, a 19.1% increase in average deal size and a 43.74% rise in leads, plus a 51% spike in activity during the contest — improvements Cloudapps also used to build prediction and training engines that improved forecast accuracy and ongoing performance.
