How RabbitMQ Transformed Agri-Tech app FarmBot

FarmBot, an open-source robotic farming platform, needed a way to deliver real-time commands, sync data more reliably, and reduce development time as its user base grew. To support its web app and connected hardware, FarmBot evaluated RabbitMQ and worked with CloudAMQP to improve communication between its API, devices, and frontend.

CloudAMQP helped FarmBot implement a RabbitMQ-based message queue architecture for push notifications, remote procedure calls, background jobs, and real-time syncing. The change improved responsiveness and uptime, while giving FarmBot a managed service with built-in monitoring and support so the team could spend less time on infrastructure and more time building features.
