How Carmila uses Cloud4Wi to strengthen customer relationships

Carmila, one of Europe’s leading retail property companies with 215 shopping centers, needed to elevate customer experiences and give the brands in its centers better marketing tools. To improve guest WiFi and capture location-based customer insights, Carmila deployed Cisco Meraki cloud-managed access points and partnered with Cloud4Wi for the software layer to collect, analyze and act on shopper data.

Cloud4Wi integrated with Meraki APs and provided an intuitive dashboard, GDPR-compliant customizable splash pages, multiple login options and email validation. Carmila rolled out Cloud4Wi across 124 locations in France (plus 25 in Spain), achieving about 100 customer contacts per location per week and an 86% opt-in rate. Cloud4Wi’s analytics enabled 360-degree customer profiles fed into Carmila’s Cheetah engagement suite for personalized marketing, helped maintain customer contact during COVID‑19, and will be expanded to more sites in Spain and Italy.
