Virgin Money, the UK financial services brand behind Virgin Money Digital Bank, needed to prove that cloud could support a new, customer-centric banking platform with real-time analytics, strong security, and regulatory compliance. It engaged Cloud Technology Partners (CTP) to help assess the approach and build the cloud and data foundation needed for its digital bank initiative.

Cloud Technology Partners (CTP) built a fully automated Minimum Viable Cloud on AWS, then partnered with Virgin Money on analytics proof-of-concepts for text analytics, graph databases, data warehouse migration, and metadata management. The work validated the architecture, passed third-party security audits, and helped Virgin Money produce an enterprise-class cloud development platform in less than four months—under 20% of the time estimated for an on-premises build.
