Cloud Technology Partners worked with an Insurance Provider that needed to evaluate a portfolio of 700 applications and determine which ones were suitable for cloud migration. Facing added time pressure from a recent acquisition, the customer also needed a standard process and documentation for development teams to support a rapid assessment and initial migration effort.

Cloud Technology Partners used its Application Decision Framework (ADF) to rapidly assess a targeted set of 50 handpicked applications, while interviewing and training staff on the tool and engaging multiple business units in the process. As a result, the project produced a prioritized list of 10 applications to move first with limited modification, along with tools and resources to continue the assessment program and documented legacy application patterns to strengthen the client’s cloud offerings.
