Cloud Technology Partners helped an Insurance Company develop a next-generation PaaS strategy. The customer lacked a clear company-wide cloud vision, needed consistent IT alignment and procedures across international offices, and had to address security and compliance concerns specific to the insurance industry. The work was centered on Azure and included PaaS strategy planning.

Cloud Technology Partners delivered six interrelated components: a PaaS reference architecture, application decision framework, PaaS vendor assessment, rollout roadmap, migration effort estimation using PaaSLane, and Force.com integration. As a result, the Insurance Company successfully piloted the Application Decision Framework, validated a VMware-based PaaS platform, integrated the reference architecture with its existing Force.com account, and initiated a large-scale rollout of Azure.
