Google Optimizes The Location And Assignment Of Field Photographers With Salesforce.Com

Google, a leading technology company, needed to simplify the workflow for its mobile workforce of field photographers and provide management with scalable tools to track and analyze productivity. Their challenge was to develop an Android application to improve communication between on-premise staff and remote photographers servicing local business requests. They partnered with Cloud Sherpas for a solution using salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud.

Cloud Sherpas developed a custom Android application integrated with Salesforce and Picasa. This solution automated the creation of digital photo albums and allowed photographers to receive updated schedules without logging into a portal. The results provided Google with new visibility into lead conversions and photo shoot quality control, enabling them to track the performance of both office staff and field photographers through native Salesforce analytics.
