A Cloud Pro Case Study
SugarSync was looking to stand out in the crowded file-sharing market and make cloud syncing easier for SMBs and new users. Through Cloud Pro coverage of the launch of SugarSync 2.0, the company highlighted the limits of single-folder sync models and the need for a more flexible, simple way to manage cloud access across devices.
Cloud Pro reported that SugarSync responded with a redesigned desktop app and multi-sync solution that lets users sync any folders, choose which devices receive files, and use a “cloud only” option to save local storage. The update also introduced SugarSync Drive and maintained strong encryption and redundant datacentres; while no specific numbers were given, SugarSync said the goal was to simplify onboarding without losing power and functionality.
