Case Study: Xentrall achieves greater efficiency and scalability with Cloud Pro

Stockton and Darlington Borough Councils turn to cloud to boost efficiency of central services

Xentrall, the shared services partnership between Stockton and Darlington Borough Councils, needed a way to retain school customers as they became Academies and could no longer access council networks. Working with Cloud Pro and UNIT4’s Agresso finance software, Xentrall looked for a cloud-based way to deliver finance, HR, and payroll services more flexibly and at lower cost.

Cloud Pro helped Xentrall move Agresso to a shared cloud platform so academies could access it over the internet with only a subscription and no capital outlay. The result was faster deployment and better access and performance for schools, with 13 schools signed up by November 2011, 10 already live, and 26 academy customers onboarded in total, including four outside the local region.
