RAC, the long-established roadside assistance provider, wanted a more scalable and flexible way to handle growing telematics and crash data from vehicles. Its previous cloud platform was becoming too limiting, so RAC worked with Cloud Pro using Microsoft Azure and IoT Hub to support faster analysis, improved security, and future-ready data services.

Cloud Pro’s solution helps RAC process multiple vehicle data streams in real time, with the deployment designed to improve reporting, compare data across databases, and support additional tools like stream analytics and machine learning. In testing, RAC’s reporting suite already ran faster and pulled data from more vehicles in parallel, with expected benefits including quicker response times, better fault detection, and broader service improvements for customers.
