Pub chain calls last orders on its network and migrates to cloud

Mitchells & Butlers, a major UK pub and restaurant operator with more than 1,600 outlets, needed to replace its ageing network so it could support growing reliance on IT systems across offices and venues. The company wanted a flexible, scalable service for network access and cloud-based applications, and worked with Cloud Pro on the transformation.

Cloud Pro implemented a hosted, cloud-based managed network across M&B’s estate, connecting offices, restaurants and pubs with WAN, Ethernet, wired and wireless LAN services. The rollout was completed with zero downtime and minimal disruption, delivering stronger reliability and performance, considerable cost savings, and faster applications — around 10% faster overall and 30% faster for database-dependent applications.
