Intel and Oregon University build cancer treatment cloud

Intel partnered with Oregon Health & Science University to address the challenge of improving cancer diagnosis and personalizing treatment. Using Cloud Pro’s cloud platform, they set out to build the Collaborative Cancer Cloud, a precision medicine analytics solution for securely sharing genomic, imaging, and clinical data.

Cloud Pro helped enable a distributed, privacy-preserving platform that lets researchers and doctors analyze large amounts of data from multiple sites. The result is faster, more secure collaboration and better insights for personalized care, with the initiative expected to scale beyond cancer and support other diseases as well.
