General Electric gets ready to roll out Office 365 to 300,000 staff

General Electric wanted to improve collaboration and teamwork across its 300,000 employees in 170 countries, and chose Cloud Pro’s Microsoft Office 365 and Skype for Business to support a global rollout across devices and platforms. The company also needed secure access to company information while meeting internal security policies and industry regulations.

Cloud Pro helped GE deploy Office 365 with real-time document co-authoring, group calls and meetings through Skype for Business, and open APIs to connect mission-critical applications. The solution was selected to scale productivity worldwide and improve employee collaboration, though no cost or timeline was disclosed.
