Case Study: Alzheimer’s Society achieves nationwide care data management with Cloud Pro

Fighting dementia; the Alzheimer's Society takes the cloud route

The Alzheimer’s Society, a UK charity supporting people affected by dementia, needed a more scalable way to manage rising demand, fragmented patient records, and a growing national network of 300 sites and 2,000 users. Working with Cloud Pro and Salesforce.com, it moved from Excel and local systems to a cloud-based platform to improve data management, service tracking, and support delivery.

Cloud Pro helped the Alzheimer’s Society build its Computerised Record System on Salesforce’s Force.com PaaS, integrating it with the wider Salesforce cloud using Apex and Visualforce. The rollout included nationwide training, custom assessment forms, and migration of 100,000 patient records, enabling staff to record care more consistently and securely across the UK without installing software on 1,500 PCs.
