Cloud provider Oncore gets switched on with new infrastructure

Oncore IT, a London-based cloud managed service provider, needed to upgrade its aging switch infrastructure as more customers moved to cloud services. Its legacy network was struggling with growing data volumes, shared storage demands, and performance issues such as bursty traffic, packet loss, high latency, and slow backup and virtual machine access.

Cloud Pro provided Brocade data centre networking technology, including Brocade Ethernet fabrics and VCS Fabric technology, to modernize Oncore IT’s infrastructure. The new setup improved performance and service availability, delivered wire-speed throughput, and supported the company’s cloud model with a flexible pay-per-port pricing approach, helping Oncore IT better serve more than 100 customers.
