Nerdalize, a cloud provider, needed a container orchestration solution to tie together its unique, distributed network of servers housed in heating devices across the Netherlands. Their challenge was to efficiently manage this infrastructure to offer affordable and sustainable compute power to their customers.

The Cloud Native Computing Foundation's project, Kubernetes, provided the solution. By implementing Kubernetes, Nerdalize became a cloud-native provider, which enabled significant cost savings. The solution resulted in a 40% reduction in prices for customers, cut setup time for users from a day to minutes, and created an annual environmental benefit of saving 2 tons of CO2 per household.
