AppDirect, a company providing an end-to-end commerce platform, faced significant bottlenecks and a complex, manual release process with its monolithic Tomcat application. This resulted in a dramatic improvement, reducing deployment times from 4 hours to minutes and increasing their deployment rate from 1-30 to 1,600 per week. The CNCF solution also provided substantial cost savings and successfully supported a 10x growth in the engineering staff.
