One of the Region’s Leading Airlines launches blockchain frequent flyer system with Cloud Kinetics

The customer, one of the region’s leading airlines, faced industry-wide challenges from the pandemic and sought to innovate its frequent flier program. The airline partnered with vendor Cloud Kinetics to pilot a new blockchain-based system on Microsoft Azure to revamp this system.

Cloud Kinetics implemented a scalable blockchain model using Azure Confidential Ledger (ACL) to create a transparent and tamperproof system for the frequent flier program. The solution was well-integrated and successfully scaled, leading Cloud Kinetics to win Microsoft’s Innovative Partner of the Year award for the project.
