Case Study: Digiworld achieves faster, scalable data protection with Cloud Kinetics on AWS

Digiworld, a leading market expansion services provider and ICT distributor in Vietnam, needed a more flexible and scalable way to handle growing bandwidth, compute, and data protection demands. Its on-premises data center made capacity upgrades slow and expensive, while manual tape backups took around four hours per day. Cloud Kinetics helped Digiworld move toward AWS-based storage and backup, using Amazon S3 and Managed Backup Service with CloudBerry Lab.

Cloud Kinetics, working with InfoFabrica, migrated Digiworld’s backup operations to AWS, including Microsoft Exchange data and Microsoft SQL databases, and decommissioned the tape backup system. The project finished in three weeks, ahead of schedule, with zero downtime or service interruption, reduced provisioning time for additional compute capacity to minutes, and delivered overall man-hour savings of 45–55%.
