Founded in 1994, Fitness Superstore is the UK’s largest specialist fitness equipment retailer. Many of its products are considered purchases and, with around 74% of visitors leaving before buying, the business needed a way to re-engage shoppers and recover incremental sales.

Fitness Superstore deployed cloud.IQ’s automated, personalized cart recovery emails and tapped cloud.IQ’s PayPal partnership to expand reach to PayPal customers. The campaign delivered a 5.05% uplift in online sales, converted 11.65% of lost sales and achieved a 15,943% ROI; recovered PayPal carts drove 32% more revenue and had a 248% higher average order value, while recovered carts’ AOV was 11% higher than pre-abandonment.
