Redis Labs Integrates With Cloud Foundry to Deliver Performance, Simplicity, Extensibility

Redis Labs, a NoSQL database company, needed a way to support globally distributed Cloud Foundry customers running multiple foundation installations across geographies. Its challenge was helping developers use the same source data across apps and services while synchronizing data reliably and with low latency.

Using Cloud Foundry with a BOSH-based release, Redis Labs implemented an active-active, CRDT-based approach to continuously replicate and synchronize data across multi-Cloud Foundry infrastructures. The result was strong eventual consistency, full-mesh peer communication, and less developer overhead for cluster configuration and expiry, helping teams deliver performant, extensible, and simpler geo-distributed applications.
