Fidelity’s DevOps Approach Steers Digital Transformation

Fidelity International, a global financial services company, needed to move away from slow, traditional software delivery to stay competitive and become more agile in the cloud era. To support this shift, it turned to Cloud Foundry and its Platform as a Service (PaaS) to advance its cloud-based agile software delivery strategy.

Cloud Foundry helped Fidelity International adopt a DevOps model built around automation, self-service, and continuous delivery, with more than 45 applications now running on the platform. The approach enabled faster, safer releases, in-business-day platform upgrades with no impact, and a more secure, up-to-date environment—helping Fidelity break up large “supertanker” releases and deliver changes more quickly.
