Allstate Innovates Mobile Rescue Service with Cloud Foundry

Allstate, the insurance company, wanted to improve roadside assistance by reducing wait times and creating a more modern, digital service for stranded motorists. Working with Cloud Foundry and its Application Runtime, Allstate aimed to build a faster, more scalable way to connect drivers with help.

Cloud Foundry helped power the Good Hands Rescue Network, a crowdsourced roadside assistance platform developed by CompoZed Labs. The new service lets customers request help by app, text, or phone and typically gets them assistance in 30 minutes or less. According to Allstate, the platform has already generated revenue in the tens of millions and could grow into the hundreds of millions.
