Harvard University unifies 3 programs with Cloud for Good

Harvard University, comprised of many independent schools and programs, faced challenges with disparate systems that created administrative inefficiencies and a lack of a unified view of data across its various strategic initiatives. To address this, multiple Harvard affiliates partnered with the vendor Cloud for Good to implement Salesforce solutions, including the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and a custom Program Management Package, to better manage complex relationships and business processes.

Cloud for Good implemented tailored Salesforce instances for Harvard's Ariadne Labs, Harvard Catalyst, and the Weatherhead Center, centralizing data and standardizing processes. The results included a 360-degree view of participants across programs, the ability to run detailed reports on program metrics and diversity, and a significant reduction in administrative burden, freeing up staff to focus more on their core missions.
