CDC Foundation raises $193M in COVID relief with Cloud for Good

The CDC Foundation, an independent nonprofit supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, faced a critical challenge with disconnected, paper-based systems and a legacy fundraising platform (Raiser's Edge) that could not support its rapidly expanding mission, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. To increase fundraising efficiency and manage large-scale operations, they partnered with Cloud for Good to implement a Salesforce solution.

Cloud for Good facilitated the CDC Foundation's migration to the Salesforce platform, integrating a suite of products and third-party applications to synergize workflows and automate processes. This transformation enabled real-time reporting and streamlined campaigns, allowing the Foundation to rapidly scale its team and efforts. As a result, they raised $193 million in direct COVID-19 relief, supported response efforts across 72 states and countries, and grew from 200 to 900 staff members, crediting Cloud for Good and Salesforce as crucial to their impactful response.
