California State Parks Foundation (CSPF) was struggling with an outdated and expensive donor-management platform that restricted its growth and operational efficiency. Their previous system lacked configurable tools for donor, volunteer, and constituent management, and its insufficient marketing capabilities hampered outreach efforts. Additionally, the platform's poor data integrity led to over 200,000 spam accounts, which crippled email deliverability and analytics. CSPF partnered with Cloud for Good to implement a new solution.

Cloud for Good successfully migrated CSPF to Salesforce’s Nonprofit Cloud and Marketing Cloud. The implementation included a full data migration, a reconfiguration of code for future flexibility, and the creation of automated, zip-code-targeted email campaigns for volunteers. The solution cleaned the database, removing the spam accounts and drastically improving email deliverability and marketing effectiveness. As a result, CSPF exceeded a #GivingTuesdayNow fundraising goal by 422%, enabling them to better protect California's state parks.
