Boston University unifies research data in Salesforce with Cloud for Good in under a year

Boston University's Industry Engagement department, part of the Office of Research, needed a unified system to consolidate fragmented data on industry partners and research projects, moving away from inefficient spreadsheets and documents. To address this challenge, they partnered with vendor Cloud for Good to implement a customized Salesforce solution as their central CRM platform.

Cloud for Good configured Salesforce to manage constituents, track opportunities and projects, and integrate with form and email tools. This provided a single source of truth, enabling the department to gain a 360-degree view of research collaborations. A significant result was the ability to efficiently manage a surge of COVID-19 related industry interest, capturing opportunities and tracking all related activity.
