Global advisory firm RSM was hindered by its traditional, on-premise IT setup, which made application testing an onerous and costly process for its 41,000-person workforce. The UK-based IT team sought a more flexible and cost-effective solution for their development and testing needs, prompting them to partner with vendor Cloud Direct to explore the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Cloud Direct implemented a secure, global SharePoint test environment in Azure for RSM. This pay-as-you-go solution dramatically decreased application deployment times, eliminated wasteful server maintenance, and provided a successful proof of concept that built business-wide confidence for further cloud adoption.
