Spree Commerce worked with Cloud 66 after a serious outage caused its web application to stop responding to visitors. The challenge was an unstable database server, and the team needed a fast way to recover without spending valuable time diagnosing the root cause.

Cloud 66 cloned the stack to new hardware and used its database import feature to restore the data on the new environment. Once the application was running again, DNS was switched over and service was restored smoothly, reducing downtime and enabling Spree Commerce to continue serving visitors quickly.
