Abletech enables ANZ eCommerce with AddressFinder, powered by Cloud 66

Abletech, a Wellington-based software development firm, needed a better way to manage and scale its Ruby on Rails infrastructure after its DevOps specialist resigned. The team also needed to support its mission-critical AddressFinder product, which powers address autocomplete and verification for hundreds of eCommerce sites across ANZ.

Using Cloud 66, Abletech outsourced much of its DevOps function and streamlined deployments for its Rails stack, including PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Sidekiq, AWS services, and a replica environment on DigitalOcean. Cloud 66 helped the team automate continuous deployment, simplify provisioning, and handle SSL renewals, allowing Abletech to avoid rehiring DevOps headcount and focus on growth across multiple geographies.
