The Grand Hotel, a family-run seafront property in Lytham St Annes (54 bedrooms plus a 22-room annexe), was losing online sales and needed a modern, intuitive property management system. To address this they chose Clock Software’s Clock PMS+ to replace inflexible legacy PMSs and streamline the booking process.
Clock Software deployed Clock PMS+ (with integrated Clock POS and web reservations), enabling fast staff onboarding, a three-step online booking flow and remote management via live room status and housekeeping communication. The change delivered a vast increase in online bookings, a huge reduction in paper use (virtually paperless), improved guest self-service (pre-arrival check-in, digital signatures, arrival alerts, mobile check-out/payment) and tighter POS–PMS integration, boosting overall operational efficiency.
