A Clinch Talent Case Study

Preview of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Case Study

How Bendigo and Adelaide Bank moved from reactive to proactive recruitment with Clinch

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, a regional and community-focused bank with 7,000 employees and more than 1.9 million customers, was struggling to make recruitment more proactive after centralizing hiring. Despite increasing job board spend, the team saw poor conversion and needed better data to understand which sourcing channels were actually delivering hires. Working with Clinch Talent, the bank set out to analyze and improve its recruitment marketing and candidate journey.

Clinch Talent helped Bendigo and Adelaide Bank launch a new internal careers site with personalized job recommendations, create landing pages for key business areas, and use multiple calls to action and talent pooling to capture and segment candidate interest. The bank also strengthened its EVP, content strategy, and employee ambassador program to support more consistent branding across channels. As a result, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank reduced cost and time to hire, improved personalization and candidate engagement, and uncovered that job boards generated 59% of applications but only 2% of hires.
