A Clinc Case Study
İşbank partnered with Clinc to create Maxi, a Turkish-language mobile banking virtual assistant for its 8.2 million app users. The bank’s challenge was to deliver conversational support for multi-turn banking tasks such as bill payment and money transfer, while also accommodating Turkish language needs and offering flexibility in how the assistant could be built.
Using the Clinc AI Platform, İşbank designed, built, and deployed Maxi in just six months of development and two months of rollout. Clinc’s solution enabled written and spoken Turkish interactions, and the assistant now supports basic transactions and more advanced PFM queries. The results included 2.5 million active users, 9.8 interactions per user, $44 billion in transaction value, 43% monthly user growth, and rapid expansion during COVID-19, including 4 new intents deployed in under a week and over 1 million coronavirus-related questions answered in one month.
