İşbank’s Maxi - Customer Case Study

İşbank, Turkey’s largest private bank, wanted to launch a digital banking assistant to help customers manage their accounts in Turkish, but needed an AI solution that could handle the language and still give the bank flexibility to build the experience itself. Clinc provided the AI platform and product support behind Maxi, İşbank’s mobile banking virtual assistant.

With Clinc’s NLP, machine learning, and deep learning technology, İşbank built Maxi to understand and respond in Turkish across written and spoken interactions, supporting both simple transactions and more complex financial guidance. The assistant was rolled out to millions of mobile app users and drove strong adoption, reaching more than 2.5 million active users, around 10–11 interactions per user, and supporting about $45M in transaction value.
