Hopscotch, a homegrown Indian kids' apparel brand, was facing challenges due to an inaccurate flat Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) system on their eCommerce store. This approach led to cart abandonment, customer anxiety, and a high volume of support queries. To address this, Hopscotch partnered with vendor ClickPost to implement their Intelligent EDD Optimization Module.
ClickPost devised a custom solution that captured real-time carrier data and used an advanced data science model to calculate and display precise delivery dates. This implementation resulted in a significant 5% surge in conversions on product detail pages. Furthermore, ClickPost helped Hopscotch achieve a 91.1% accuracy rate in EDD estimations, with 74% of deliveries being fulfilled on or before the promised date.
