Serving Real-Time Analytics Across Marketplaces at Adevinta with ClickHouse Cloud

Adevinta, a leading online classifieds company operating more than 25 platforms across 11 countries, needed a centralized analytics and dashboarding solution to help sellers monitor advertisements and track interactions in real time. After evaluating cloud options including Google BigQuery and Cloud Spanner, Adevinta chose ClickHouse Cloud for its high performance, scalability, SQL analytics, and cost-effectiveness.

With ClickHouse Cloud, Adevinta eliminated the need for a self-managed environment and gained a low-latency, high-throughput analytics platform that can support more than 80 billion rows and around 18 TB of data. In testing, ClickHouse handled 22 queries per second on 20 billion rows and 20 TB of data, while proving 2x cheaper than BigQuery and 6x cheaper than Cloud Spanner for the workload they evaluated.
