SEON Achieves 80% Faster Database Performance for Anti-Fraud Platform with ClickHouse on AWS

SEON, an integrated fraud prevention and AML platform, needed a high-performance database to keep up with rapidly growing transaction volumes and increasingly complex customer rule sets. To deliver sub-second fraud decisions at massive scale, SEON partnered with ClickHouse and evaluated ClickHouse Cloud on AWS for its real-time analytics and OLAP capabilities.

ClickHouse worked with SEON to deploy and optimize the platform on AWS, using services like Amazon EC2, Amazon EKS, and Amazon S3. The result was up to 80% faster screening performance, up to 50x faster processing for simple rule sets, and about 30% lower storage costs, helping SEON deliver lower latencies than expected for demanding fraud-detection workloads.
