Ongage, a marketing automation company based in Israel, needed real-time analytics to support email and SMS campaigns at massive scale, processing around half a billion messages per day. Their existing mix of MongoDB, MySQL, and Redshift couldn’t deliver the low-latency insights they needed, and analytics queries were getting too slow as data volumes grew.

Ongage moved to ClickHouse Cloud to power campaign analytics and automation, using features like the MySQL engine, materialized views, and SummingMergeTree tables to streamline migration and speed up reporting. With ClickHouse, reports that previously took two to three hours could return “in a blink of an eye,” while ClickHouse Cloud also reduced operational overhead and storage costs significantly versus SingleStore.
