How Poizon rebuilt its data platform with ClickHouse Enterprise Edition

Poizon, one of China’s largest ecommerce platforms for luxury goods, needed a better way to manage its observability data as traffic and trace volumes exploded into the petabyte range. Its self-hosted ClickHouse-based setup was becoming costly, hard to scale during peak events like Singles Day, and increasingly difficult to operate with limited disaster recovery and complex write balancing.

Poizon rebuilt its data platform with ClickHouse Enterprise Edition (ClickHouse Cloud), using storage-compute separation, SharedMergeTree, serverless scaling, load balancing, and parallel replicas. With ClickHouse, Poizon achieved write speeds of up to 20 million rows per second, reduced infrastructure costs by 60%, and cut storage expenses by more than 70% in large-scale scenarios.
