A ClickHouse Case Study
Auditzy, a Mumbai-based startup founded in 2022, helps brands monitor website performance and connect speed metrics to business outcomes. As its data grew, the team’s Postgres-based analytics stack became slow and fragile: queries on 100–200 million row datasets could take minutes, bulk inserts slowed during traffic spikes, and maintenance work like vacuuming and index management drained engineering time.
Auditzy migrated its analytics workload to ClickHouse, using it to store and query event and performance data with far less maintenance. The results were dramatic: median queries dropped from about 10 seconds to 300 milliseconds, complex queries fell from around 1 minute to 15 seconds, and a 2 billion-row dataset shrank from 2.5 TB in Postgres to 250 GB in ClickHouse. With ClickHouse, Auditzy also simplified its architecture and freed the team to build new dashboards and features faster.
