AdGreetz, an AdTech and MarTech personalization platform, needed a faster and more cost-effective way to store and analyze the millions of ad impression events it processes every day. After struggling with AWS Athena and finding Snowflake too expensive for its data volume and performance needs, the company turned to ClickHouse Cloud.
With ClickHouse, AdGreetz built a streamlined, low-latency analytics pipeline using Cloudflare Workers, HTTP/REST inserts, async ingestion, and materialized views for aggregates. The result was sub-second query performance, significantly lower cost than Snowflake’s comparable setup, support for around 5–6 million daily impressions and peaks of 20–30 million, and efficient storage for roughly 1.25 billion rows of data.
