Corsearch replaces MySQL with ClickHouse for content and brand protection

Corsearch, a brand protection company, needed a faster and more scalable way to power interactive analytics for its customer-facing reporting and anti-piracy services. Its MySQL-based setup struggled with large volumes of time-series data, many filter dimensions, and dozens of concurrent queries, while also creating operational complexity across multiple databases.

ClickHouse replaced the MySQL architecture with a drop-in, SQL-based analytics backend for reporting, observability, and later vector similarity search. Corsearch reported stronger compression, fewer servers to manage, and the ability to store over 10 billion rows spanning four years in less than 325 GB on disk. With ClickHouse, the team also consolidated data pipelines and reduced operational overhead, and they later began using ClickHouse Cloud for embeddings storage and faster similarity scans.
