New Nonprofit Launches Successfully with Click & Pledge and Salesforce

HeritX, a new nonprofit focused on preventing inherited cancers (starting with BRCA-related cancers), faced the challenge of launching quickly while establishing secure payment processing and donor-management systems. To avoid future inefficiencies, HeritX selected Salesforce for CRM and, through their implementation partner Idealist Consulting, adopted Click & Pledge donation forms and payment processing to capture donations and constituent data from day one.

Click & Pledge supplied customizable donation forms, low transaction fees, Salesforce integration, peer-to-peer tools, and daily live support, enabling HeritX to launch a fully functional website on schedule and collect donations and contact data at an early conference. The Click & Pledge integration automated data flow into Salesforce, captured memorial/honor and custom donor fields, reduced manual recordkeeping for a three-person staff, and helped HeritX avoid common startup growing pains.
