Click & Pledge Saves Nonprofit From Ticket Sales Crisis

Lowcountry Orphan Relief (LOR), a nonprofit that provides clothing, hygiene items and life‑skills programs for displaced children, was struggling with disconnected systems: a clunky donor database and separate payment processors that caused duplicate data entry, rising monthly database fees, and ultimately a last‑minute failure of their ticket vendor just weeks before their Gatsby Gala. Working with consultant Team4Mission, LOR moved to Salesforce and explored an integrated payments and events solution from Click & Pledge.

Click & Pledge implemented its Event Management solution and linked it to LOR’s website within 24 hours, restoring online ticket sales and recording the first sale that day. The Click & Pledge–Salesforce integration eliminated manual entry (Sharpe reports it “100% eliminated” that employee task), automated deposits to improve cash flow versus prior monthly payouts, and provided customizable receipts and easy reporting—saving staff time and improving donor follow‑up.
