Pelham Together’s CouchFest brought an unprecedented sense of teamwork among the community’s nonprofits

Pelham CouchFest was a response to the fundraising and program disruptions Pelham Together faced during COVID-19, after spring events were canceled and the organization had to quickly redefine how its mission connected to the community. The nonprofit needed a way to make its work feel relevant to donors while bringing multiple local organizations into one shared fundraising effort.

Pelham Together used Click & Pledge CONNECT to build an event website and donation form for the live-streamed concert, with options to split gifts among up to eight nonprofits and cover processing fees. The event raised more than $70,000 for the eight nonprofits, including $12,000 for Pelham Together, and the organizer said the fundraiser replaced nearly all the donations lost from canceled spring events.
